It makes me wonder what kind of mother is she to her son?

Perhaps the mother thought she may was doing the right thing out of her love for her son to help him but really, it isn't exactly the correct thing to do by exploiting him.

I can understand that there are some people with special needs out there that are having a hard time finding someone 'special' in their life because of how society views it otherwise - but - however, by exploiting this story won't probably get anywhere.

So, Why didn't the mother try to encourage the son to participate in Downs Syndrome Support Group or any kind of group that can direct him in the right path? If that were to happen, Chances are, the son may will have a better shot of finding someone 'special' to be with. It also would be less embarrassing to be exploited too.
 
I don't even get it. She is totally using her son, because if she TRULY wanted to get her son laid, fine, go pay a hooker or set him up with another DS person or ANY OTHER REAL ACTION. Not just going around "I want my son to get laid." to the media.....

I dont see a problem with what shes doing EXCEPT making this a media issue where it should be nobodys buisness except the parent and the kid.
