Mother (Patty Ramsey) of Slain JonBenet Ramsey Dies

Yeah - I agree...it's all very sad....I'm sure the family is hurting very deeply, regardless of what may or may not have happened in the past. It's never been proven - but she will and probably has been judged by the only one allowed to judge her, and that's....Bruce Almighty.

My thoughts are with them all.

Her daughter was not ugly. Where did you get that idea ?

Her daughter was beautiful for her own age group and had she lived, I am sure she would have blossomsed into a beautiful young lady.

What does imho mean ????

imho stands for in my humble opinion. By the way, a juvie girl doesn't need makeup on her face and her hair all made up to look like a barfing Barbie; she was way too young for makeup. There's a country song that talks about "...tears can't hide and makeup can't disguise..." Think Alabama recorded it.

I hope Patsy is sent to hell for betraying her own beautiful daughter. It is very sad that JonBenet was being used as a pawn and many more. I feel that Mom and Dad are the responsible for the little girl's death. Shame on Mom ....
RIP - JoBenet Ramsey - only 6 years old and her life was cut short.

I was told from my friend who is a lawyer, Patsy Ramsey knew who did it, but polices and investigators hasn't found any proof... Now Patsy died, and polices and ivestigators will never kind who did it...

Think about it.. she was found in the basement.. the window in basement was little for a big guy. so she knew someone in the house and moved her to basement and killed her in basement.

We probably will never find who did it...

Does your lawyer friend knows who did it? Did Patsy tell your friend who did it? Why didnt Patsy and her hubby tell the whole world they know who did it?

At first when I heard the news about their daughter being murdered...I first thought it could be her brother who did it...bec her parents focused on her alot more than her brother... :dunno:

The family can (or could) be very sneaky and tricky, they know how to hide and they know they can get away with it. My friend who is lawyer, and she has all the papers written down what she learned and what she wanted to ask questions. There are so many questions to ask and find out. She is still fingering at the father, or the Santa Claus or someone was in the party with them the night before she was murder. The brother can't be. He was really young, like 8 or 9 years old and he still has no idea what and how. They still got more to investigating...

Remember they had a Chrsitmas party the night before she was murdered. Who was the last person to leave the house? What time did she go to bed? What time did the party over? How many people they invited for the party? If she was killed around 11:30 at night or midnight, and if the party was not over till after midnight, who was or were in the party? If the parents were STILL up to that late, and if their daughter was killed before the party was over.

Now Mrs. Ramsey has passed away, and I don't know if John Ramsey knew about or not. I think he wanted to hide so he can run many election for mayor and getting the spotlights for politicals...

See, Never know who did it, or how it happen. It'll always be unsolved mystery.

Mother of Slain JonBenet Ramsey Dies
By Associated Press

ATLANTA - Patsy Ramsey, whose 6-year-old daughter JonBenet's 1996 slaying has never been solved, died Saturday of cancer, her lawyer said. She was 49.

Ramsey had been battling ovarian cancer since 1993 and suffered a recurrence three years ago, attorney L. Lin Wood said. Her husband, John, was with her at the time of her death.

JonBenet was found beaten and strangled in her parents' Boulder, Colo. basement on Dec. 26, 1996. A grand jury investigation ended with no indictments, and no arrests have been made.

The Ramseys said an intruder killed their daughter but a cloud of suspicion hung over the couple. The district attorney and a federal judge in Colorado have said it is likelier that an intruder was responsible.

JonBenet's death became fodder for tabloids and the subject of books.

"I think people realize now that this family was very much victims of that murder and have suffered greatly because of it in terms of the false accusations made against them," Wood told CNN Saturday.

Patsy Ramsey said she found a ransom note on the back staircase of the family's home demanding $118,000 for the safe return of JonBenet. John Ramsey said he found his daughter's body in a basement room, wrapped in a white blanket eight hours later.

An autopsy concluded JonBenet suffered a skull fracture, and was strangled and beaten.

The couple wrote a book, "The Death of Innocence," which was published in 2000.

They later left Colorado and had residences in Atlanta and in Michigan, where John Ramsey unsuccessfully ran for a state House seat in 2004. The Ramseys discussed their daughter's death during the campaign.

"We can't just hold our breath and hope the killer will be found and then go on with our lives," Patsy Ramsey said in 2004. "We have to move ahead now. We can't let evil win."
