Most Disturbing Movies

I am not a big fan of Horror movies. I do watch some of them.

Hills Have Eyes was too unrealistic for me. So in my mind, fearing that it will happen is unrealistic as well.

Realistic movies, are the ones I ponder, and actually get a sense of fear off of.

Not all these listing are horror.

BTW, I liked "Oldboy". That's so strong about incest. :eek3:

Oldboy is great but I prefer Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance.
Both are pretty gritty "revenge" films.
Speaking of revenge films... They Call Her One Eye is prefect

Didier a french movie is the weirdest I have ever seen! That was such a waste of money...

I've added Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance to my queue. When I looked up Oldboy, I found that it was part of a series. That's why I've added the other to my queue.

By the way, Oldboy was quite disturbing.

I don't know if this makes a lick of sense - I do recall seeing an odd movie years ago when I was about 8 or 9 with Jack Nicholson in it where's he's on the run from the law with a woman and they eat pink fluffy balls of candy for food. (not sure what its called), and the odd part (maybe I was dreaming afterwards) but they were at this southwestern cabin place and the entire yard was covered with this pink fluffy stuff. Its disturbing in a very strange way.

Seen:

Hills have Eyes (Didn't think it was that creepy)

OldBoy (Now, that was disturbing....)

Jacob Ladder (I thought this was interesting)

The Strangers (That was disturbing, They were cruel)

The most disturbing horror movies I've ever seen were -

Wrong Turn and Wrong Turn 2. It was just too disgusting and graphic but at same time, the storyline is what makes it kinda fascinating.

I've seen both of those movies while I agree with you that it is a very disgusting movie, but I think The Exorcist is the most disturbing movie. I wouldn't even watch the Haunting based on a true story... I don't like movies that are related to evil.

I just finished watching Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance. It was disturbing, but not as disturbing as Oldboy. The plot did sorta get lost a bit.

Okay, time to update my list:
