Most Common Phrases on AD

"Didn't you know? ______ has been banned"


I have see that quite a few times in my almost year that I have been here.
 
Shh... It is not allowed to talk about -------'s ban.
 
I know I will get banned for saying this but here goes...
 
"That may have happened in the past but that doesn't happen now" or similar ways of saying that sentence.
 
Thinking I am giving up for a while. Be back some other time.
 
Just because you've read a few articles and talked to a few people with similar experiences does not mean you are an expert on the subject. It does not mean you have researched it.

I am a 16 year old from _____________. For the longest time I never cared about the deaf people or have ever even heard of the deaf community. One night on youtube I came across an ASL video for a song. That is when I became obsessed with the language and learning to interpret music for the deaf and HOH.. I am now almost fluent in ASL and I am 100% self taught of course I still have some more learning to do but I feel proud to know such a cool language. I hope to be going to College to become an ASL interpreter. I also wish to have contact with someone who I can practice ASL ! Anyone who wants to help me, just let me know.
