Monkey to be sent to Mars By Russians

I believe apes are smarter than monkeys so they should try a chimpanzee...however, I read somewhere that it may only be a one way flight to Mars...meaning the primate wont return to Earth because of radiation or whatever like that. If that is true, then it is definitely considered animal cruelty.

Wouldn't we be better of teaching the monkey to eat and clean up after itself??

An interesting theory is that non-human primates' motor skills aren't as good as humans' motor skills surely some are stronger than us and have opposable thumbs and all but such things they can't do such as sew or whatever as humans obviously can do more things that an ape can't do...if you read more about it, it kind of makes sense in a way.

But I would think that their motor skill mimic a human far more that a robot.
 
Awww, I would not like to have a chimpanzees, monkeys or apes go out to space especially to Mars. The poor animals will not know their habitats (their own territories) on Mars. They are more adapt or use to Earth. That is their own home. I think that is animal cruelty for the scientists to put them on the one way trip like that. :nono: :thumbd:
