Modern Fireplaces

While I am able to afford ALL of them at once - I wouldn't buy one of them.

They are alright but just not my taste, also my house is a historical house that wouldn't suit the fireplaces well.
 
As much as I like fireplaces, these are way too modern for my taste.
 
I like the Vauni Globe ( black) it looks romantic.
 
I like the Zeta Fireplace, it look really nice and I can see how the heat will do for the space.

They would be much better than electric heater which are boring compare to those electric fireplaces.
 
They look too modern. I'd rather have a trusty old fireplace with bricks or stones in a cabin, anyday.
 
That's cool fireplaces. They looks expensive. I like fireplace and I rather to have old fireplace with bricks in the future. My Grandparents used to put the real woods in the old fireplace with bricks for many years.
 
I would prefer an old fashioned brick fireplace with a mantle.

But am probably happier without one as they can be a good entrance for bats into your home.:hmm:
 
I prefer old fashion rock fireplace or Drum fireplace better than the modern fireplaces. Not my type.
 
I'd rather to have an old-fashioned fireplace than those modern fireplaces like the few ADers said above me....

A properly capped off fireplace (meaning the top of the chimney outside above the roof) has sturdy mesh to prevent birds. bats and other flying things from entering.
 
wow, too modern to my taste...

I owe 2 fireplaces:

marble fireplace with glass door

stove tiled fireplace
 
I absolutely love fireplaces although I'm not crazy about the modern types because when I look at them they make me feel cold and intense or overwhelm. Brick on the wall fireplaces are just cozy and very relaxing.
