At least, you know that Palm Blazer (browser) able to show the full page almost exactly as on computer appear than BB's browser.

To install Opera in Palm is annoy that required IBM java which isn't work as well. :-/

That's why IBM removed java for Treo 600/650/700p due It was rip off that you have to pay $$ for IBM java then you can use mini Opera. That's gay.

Palm Blazer is pretty slow and have to wait till image and javascript done first unlike Opera.

Yeah, it's amazing, and you show that Safari in EDGE from iPhone the original can beat Blazer in EVDO from any Palm smartphone.

Exactly! That's why I told my 700p suck. Well, It's almost 2 years old now but map google, calendar with wireless SYNC, game, and video camera are great.

Just suck on Blazer.
 
yeah, BUT your map google on Treo have no support on "My Location", only Centro, I have, it does. How odd and unfair.

I am trying to ride the wave of technology as long as I can. I had previous blackberry for 3 years then jumped to top of line to Curve 8300. Now almost one year passed since owned, they came out many curves. Blah!

So I am eying Iphone 2. But as I said, ride the wave of technology. My next target feature is videophone in cellphone. ATT is working on EVDO coverage in many areas. They just upgrade faster download and upload that is fast enough for videophone. So I am going to sit one-two more years until videophone comes out on cellphone. Then I am happy. I like to keep cellphone simple. Email, videophone, appointment... that it.

so do att's mobiles(cellphone) that have 3G. my tilt has 3g and can be tethered to my laptop. no plm so far.

I am aware of that. Can you give me link of your model? I am wondering if you are paying more monthly for tethered to laptop to attempt videophone? Does it work through tethered?

I have heard Aircard works fine with videophone webcam on laptop. But not as tethered, no source to verify it.

I am waiting to see a cellphone with videophone ability, I will buy it "heart beat". Depend on its features etc...

i havent tried webcam on my laptop tethered with my mobile. u should see my post somewhere that i left few wks ago that tells how fast my internet went on my laptop tethered with my mobile. i dont have time to dig myself cuz i work, anyway. i dont pay the mobile bill because i work for at&t mobility. ah well.

video calling on mobile - rumors say at&t will release 2 way calling mobile sometimes in 4Q of 2008. i dont know if it is true. i keep eyeing on that.

Hmmm. You know Most mobile can turn in modem like Treo, BB, M$ mobile, etc.

I did to my Treo 700p as modem to connection laptop with EVDO and webcam looks smooth and sometime lag. It's happen TWO years ago.

Same cost for monthly

All depend on coverage. My coverage dont have 3G under ATT yet but VZ already have EVDO coverage for two years.

Always check your coverage first before buy. Just stay avoid away from t-mobile.

Right. I live in Twin Cities. It already have 3G and Edge coverage in the area.

Of course - AVOID T-MOBILE AT ALL COST! Their coverage sucks!

Yeah, I rather wait cuz I came across really nice BB in concempt which have touchscreen. So I would rather wait until my contract is over then get another BB BlackBerry Thunder, the touchscreen BlackBerry we’ve all been waiting for : Boy Genius Report (It's just a demo, may not be real) or Cellular video phone :lol: Hope they'll resolve browser issue in the future that allow flash player, Java, and other plug-ins that allow user to get anywhere in net just like their desktops cuz of size of memory and better graphic ect...

I'm happy with Curve anyway cuz it have more internal memory than older Curve. It'll let me watch movie, take pix, send recorded video, watch Youtube, use GPS and enuf memory to get around website in a current "full sized" website in Opera Mini.

I sure hope Opera mini and other new mini browsers will include Java, Flashplayer to get around more of website and hopefully they'll program browser to use microSD memory as a main memory than device's internal memory. I came across one of Blackberry software that allow you to install apps and games ect into microSD to preserve BB's internal memory and allows faster and smoother operation.. I haven't download it and try out! I forgot what name it is but will find it.

I am use Sprint Sierra Wireless AC595U (discontiuned products but my aircard is still service) I was use my webcam thorugh HOVRS VideoSign 2.5 through High Speed) CDMA 1xEVDO network only. 1xRTT is not good for video

I recently buy external cellular antenna to got more signal strengh to better connection for my wireless internet to reduce dropped video calls during ride on the Amtrak train.

Twin cities will get 3G for tmobile on Oct 27.
 
I do wish Sidekick able to download Firefox or Safari browsers. It would be handly to use tabs feature while surfing on each website on Sidekick.
