I am scratching my head a bit on these photos.

In the above photo - they have zoom out so you can even see the rover lander - annnnd .... the picture is taken a lot closer to the crater.
 
When I went to the meteor crater in Arizona, I was able to get a few photos. Just to illustrate why I am "scratching my head" here is an Apollo test lander - roughly the same size the rover lander would be:

Here is a boulder that is the size of a two story house - look for that boulder in the aerial photograph too:

Steinhauer, interesting photos you have! Yeah, the crater.. The one in AZ is like those on Mars and moon and other planets and moons out there if any. The AZ is closely resembled to the ones on Mars. The desert, the way rocks appears after metorite crash to Earth, etc.

You are right about the size. Rovers easily be seen on Mars than spaceship or the 2 story house-sized rock. You just brought up a new mystery or conspircy theory. Something isn't right.

Now, that close up photo you have posted. The 2nd one. That looked like a penny on the ground. Well, of course not a penny but it may be a part from one of those rovers's crafts or the Vikings or one of our spaceships' part ended up there. It does not look like any of the rovers. Looks more like a part. Remember Mars is now a new junkyard for our crafts and parts shattered all over Mars. Like we have all the space junks around Earth. About 15 thousands of them hurling around the world.

The point I was trying to make is that "if" it is the rover lander, or even the parachute - it is a LOT larger in the picture than it actually is in reality. How did that happen? You shouldn't even be able to see that tiny little dot in the lower left corner if that is the rover lander. You can't even see it in a closer view of the crater - why are you able to see it on a photograph taken a lot further away from the crater?

My take - it is NOT the rover lander, whatever it is, is much ..... much too large to be the rover lander.

Maybe it is a smudge in the film, a pixel gone bad or something else. It looks like a floating gold orb as you can see its shadow.

The proprtions are wrong - whatever you see in the bottom left corner is the size of an industrial complex - a golf course - a city block - etc. etc.
 
Meh. I've seen so many anomalies that I no longer wonder. I know we are not alone.

No point in worrying, though.
 
Steinhauer - this is physics 101. the size of impact would be much larger than the projectile itself depending on trajectory of projectile, ground composition, etc.

A 0.7 miles diameter impact crater in Arizona was created by a 100-feet diameter meteor. that's really insane. so I wouldn't be surprised if a rover can make a huge impact crater like shown in pix if the ground composition made it like that. the physics in another planet is different from earth's physic so I wouldn't be surprised if a rover's impact crater in Earth would be much bigger (or smaller) than in Mars.

it's only "conspiracy theory" when a person does not understand it - no different from people in medieval time using biblical explanations for unexplanation.

Jiro - the rover did not make the impact, a meteorite did. What I am trying to say, is that the "penny" you pointed out is supposed to be the rover lander. But .... the rover lander is supposed to only be about 15 feet across. Keep in mind, NASA is claiming that the anamoly is the rover lander (not the heat shield).

I am simply having trouble understanding how a 15 foot structure would appear on that photo (if the crater on Mars is approximately the same size as the one in Arizona).

Not sure if that makes sense - but yeah, I saw the meteorite that caused the impact crater in Arizona. They have it on display in the museum there. It was the size of a sofa pillow at the time of impact. Let me see if I have a picture of it somewhere.


edit: I did a search and the one on display is called the Holsinger meteorite. That was the largest fragment found. Fragments of the meteorite that caused the crater have been found all along the crater's rim.

You are right. compared to the crater in AZ and the craft, you are very correct, the scale is really off. Shining object. Hmm. maybe there are gold on Mars? Hahaha. Dream on.

Um, could be one of the satelite crashed on Mars or could be one of ours sat dish that crashed but in gold. Good question.

So those theories are thrown out. There are many conspiracy theories have said that in past an alien race from Mars relocated to Earth. Others said that the US Government has teleporters from NJ to Mars and back. A guy name Andrew Biago (sp) who was 5 years old travelled to the Civil War era and his pic was taken back then unknownly to him. Well, he said he knows there is a program and seen it that Americans travel to Mars and back. All secret. Of course, conspiracy theories.

We already debunked years ago the Face of Mars. It was poor quality camera of its day in the 1970's. Now with digitial, sharper and more defined. It was not Face of Mars but merely winds and sun shadow caused it. That is all.

It could be a gold shield fell to Mars from one of the crafts. Gold shields are known for solar collection or shielding. Recall seeing old NASA photographs of spacecrafts ready for launch and you see gold shields?

There was a photograph I saw a couple of years ago or so that one of the rover caught something white on the ground and zoomed in to find it was their white shell heating shield and other things. They knew the projection of the craft landing and it was their shell and all. Got a strong feeling it is our gold shield cloth.
 
So they didnt find it yet. Im pretty darn sure There are thousands of earths like the one were on. But might not have Humans on it though. But if we ever find one without humans or aliens we should try to occupy on it if we ever get smart enough to build something like this.

Did theres no moon like our earth. Im hoping we find the planet twice as big like earth like 48 hour time zones 50,000 miles round and 360 days a year. And a moon like our earth same size 24 time zones 360 days a year.

Because the size of our planet it took about 250,000 years to reach 6 billion people. The bigger planet with modern high technology will take us futher and about 500,000 years we get 12 Billion people with really high advanced technology. And who knows maybe we might finaly become an acceptable society and free of cancer and illnesses.
