Meniers

I go pretty often and he has done my neck a few times. I don't think it has anything to do with my neck.

Okay. I didn't want to comment too personal here but to share with other people who have the similar problem.

An ENT doctor thinks me that my eustachian tubes were swollen which caused by a virus that pushed the fluid inside the eardrum that make me unbalance or perhaps dizzy. After reading on the internet, fluid must be really perfect volume in the inner ear that makes you feel fine. Too little or too much liquid that trigger the dizzy or unbalance. We have the best medical technology, and still nobody really understand why. A virus is the most difficult to be eliminated. If it is a bacteria infection, then it can be eliminated by a medicine easily. The real problem is that the ENT doctors are cruel that are not doing a good job for many years, and they are just egoistic... they think that they can fix it - that is unwisely.

Well, I ate my toast with sliced raw garlic because I was told that the garlic kill the virus. There are other herbs that can kill virus, but I can't comment it because I am not a doctor.

In my theory, a chiropractor adjusts a neck that somehow make the tube move a little bit so it might come back to normal. ...It is not easy to find a really really good chiropractor who understands how the subluxation works.

Interesting, Craniosacral Therapy (back gum area) is a good idea because of your jaw issue that might be related to your eustachian tubes. That's what you have to find out if it works for you. I would like to know about your result. I had this treatment and it works for me. I go to my chiropractor and craniosacral therapy services for my dizzy/ringing issue which is better than do nothing in the hospital because my doctors at hospital do not know the answer. Well, I won't let my doctors to eat my brain for their dinner. Silly me.

I was told that 8.5 million people have the same problem. My CAT scan showed that I do not have a cancer or stroke.

Yes, some information are not accurate especially on the internet. However, we try to find and learn about it on the internet in our own judgement. Who is going to help you without looking it up on Google? Doctor? How come the ENT doctors do not have the answer since 50 years? They just give you sleeping pills to reduce the dizzy which is not the answer.

I owe 2,000 dollars on my hospital bill for not helping me to eliminate the ringing ears or dizzy. My Medicare paid 15,000 dollars that I stayed in the hospital for four days. Yikes. A lot of deaf people are on Medicare.

I know some homeopathic medicines that works and they are not fast cure it take some time to make them work effectually. I get some information from my friends and my sisters.

Imagine that we are deaf and hear the terrible noise without hearing aids. Lucky, hearing people can hear background noise that a sort of help them not to think about the buzz sounds.

Of course, we do depend on some doctors and make us to get better. I do accept the alternative and modern medicines by my own judgement. Like Bonine Complete pill helps some people to reduce their dizzy. It doesn't work for me because it made me puke... maybe I waited too long for not taking the pill.

Oh, caz12, You said that medical advice not good on the forum. Of course, you were the nurse. Actually, my aunt is a supervisor nurse. We need to open our mind and discuss it. Deal with it and help other deaf people, too. Interesting, young adult deaf people are helping with other deaf people. Older people don't share it that I do not understand why.

Yep, good luck, l too.

sometimes dizziness can be a symptom of Migraine Associated Vertigo (MAV), so ask your doctor to check this, too.
not all 'dizzies' are necessarily as a result of Meniere's.

Although the word migraine conjures up the image of extremely painful headaches, migraine often involves much more than headache. In fact, at times the headache may be minor, or may not even exist.

Vestibular Symptoms

Vertigo
Imbalance
Dizziness
Unsteadiness
Extreme sensitivity to motion

Hearing Symptoms

Muffled hearing
Ear fullness
Tinnitus or ringing in the ear

As you can see for yourself, there is plenty of symptoms in Vestibular Migraine - compete with a LACK of headache itself - that could also explain your problem.
I hope your Dr knows about this, as not many are familiar with complicated world of less common migraine variants.
If not, go to another neurologist who specializes in migraines.
It's important to confirm or exclude certain disorders/ diseases before following with treatment since wrong treatment wont do you any good, as you can imagine.

I dont have migraines I have something called occipital neuralgia. Its when my headaches get so bad I go temporarily blind and I have pain in my eyes and electric shocks in my head. When I go to the doctor next week I'm going to bring everything up.

I see, O N is bad. I am very sorry for you.

Nevertheless, yeah it's always worth discussing with the dr whatever sound plausible and ask to check it out.

Good luck with your testing.

No one I know understands how painful it is for me everyday like my head is attacking me.

I wonder will the doctor be able to look at my most resent mri and ct or will he have me get more done.
