Men Vs. Women with wallets

I probably forget to bring wallets maybe 4x in my life. I have this small area on my desk that keeps all my stuff to go - keys + wallet + watch + BB. My wallet is very "minimalist" - it has all the necessary cards and ID. rest = i keep it home.

I carry 2 wallets because 1 is for personal use (credit cards + ID + couple of cash) and other is for work (ID + security pass + bus/subway pass). both are very thin. I don't really understand why men keep wallet in their butt. I don't see how is it comfortable. You're going to develop SCOLIOSIS! I also don't understand why men keep all the junks in their wallets like 1 year worth of receipts and business cards. :dunno:

I like your idea. My husband want to have 2 wallets. He need to clean up his clutter on dresser in bedroom. :giggle: Whenever he change the pant and forget the wallet in other pant's pocket many times. He need to get put of pocket and put on dresser instead of change pant without check the pocket. I am sick of receipts junk papers in wallet and purses. LoL

I rarely forgot to bring my wallet along. But yes, it could get too thick!

Just too many cards are the sole problem thickening the wallet!

I recalled few years ago there is a technology being created to have a "all in one" electronic card, you know. But where are they out in the market by now? I thought it would be awful nice for us, men... maybe one day it will.

So I only put most nec cards (fewer) into my wallet while leave less nec ones at home for now.

I believe it's called National ID. One ID for all.. which was shot down due to serious privacy concern.

like junk receipt papers, pictures, many dollars and cards??

Wow! It's too much. Why not get two wallets? :D

who gave you that note, jacob?

I would not forget to grab my wallet because I m not going to drive without license and cant enter my school building with my student ID.

The only times I forget about my wallet is whenever I m having bad hangover or sick.

Pinky, I do not need a two wallet, I recently bought a nice bigger wallet which was just perfect and no coin holders, cause I forbid myself to put in coins in my wallet, in my past wallets, they are eaily destroyed by the bulky coins!

Jiro -- the note I have is a big bet written on a Maccas note. Myself and my other two female friends made a bet, to see if my friend gets married in 10 years time and we agreed to write a note and never to be opened until 2018 and see who wins the $50 bet.

2018!? I'll bet you will be the least curious to know what was written in the note, would you still be in contact with the girls? I wouldn't be surprised if they are long gone, plus no money if you'd won the bet!

you are assuming too much, mate.

We have been friends for 10 years now, and that continues. I said, if I live in America, I will shell some $$ to fly back home for this occassion but in the end, we would know that it is worthless. LOL :laugh2:

I'll come back to this thread in ten years time'

Peace out, scumbags. :P

I've never heard of wallets being forgotten.

I've never forgotten my wallet. I have walked to my car and then realized I didn't bring my wallet, but I've never actually gone away and forgotten my wallet completely.

There are two things that I do with my wallet. I always keep it with my keys and hearing aid. I also keep my wallet as light as possible. I basically carry my drivers license, my Dave & Buster's Gold Card, my ATM card, and my credit card. That's pretty much it. Of course, I'll have cash. A lot of my friends have 5 to 10 credit cards, a card for every place they go to, ATM cards, drivers license, old drivers license, gas cards, movie cards, etc. Seriously, I look at those wallets and wonder how the hell they sit.
