It won't happen, sadly. 320,000 extra sq ft....currently 3.8 million...that'll mean it'll beat Dubai's current retail space, unless the mall in Dubai expands in near future.

An expansion is evidently underway for an additional 30,000 m² (320,000 ft²) of retail space, a facility for sports, trade shows and conventions, a 12-story office building, and a 600-unit apartment building, along with more parking.
 
I just want to see Mall of America. That'll be big enough for me thankyou very much.
 
I think Edmonton Mall might be big enough for me, or the Mall of America. I haven't goen to either of those.

To experience being in one of the largest malls. They don't only have retail, but have a indoor waterpark, a amusement park, aquarium, etc....mega malls have those features. :) It's not about shopping, anymore.
 
Look like Dubai's Aqua have problem with rage shark.

The aggressive sharks are part of a 33,000 specimen tank at the 12-million-square-foot Dubai Burj Mall. The tank includes an acrylic tunnel that people can walk through and gaze up at the aquatic life. The mall's grand opening was marred when the large sand sharks attacked and killed nearly 40 smaller sharks. I doubt that the mall's goal was to remind people of the casual brutality of nature before they began browsing through the world's largest gold market. I'm sure the goal was spectacle, but naturally aggressive sand sharks do not mix well with other sharks in a closed environment. Divers performing maintenance on the interior of the tank have also been attacked, though no fatalities have been reported.

I went to West Edmonton Mall a few times and it was so huge. I skated on the NHL-size hockey rink during the summer when I visited there. It was so cool! The Edmonton Oilers sometimes hold their team practice there. The WEM has a wave and sweimming pool. aquarium, amusement park, hotel, and many more.
 
Dubai is a baller ass place now. They know the oil will run out some day, so they turn Dubai as tourist.
