meanings of tattoo locations

:laugh2: I can agree with this for the most part.... Except I have TONS of tattoos, some on my forearms and one on the back of my neck ( covered by my hair ) and I definitely have a good job that pays taxes with the hospital. :P Long sleeves ( medical coat ) cover those up. Plus, when I'm saving someones arse, they really don't care if I'm tattoo'd up. :P
 
yeah i had seen few people have tattoos on hands.. blah but I prefer a tattoo nobody wud can see that but if I risk to get a tattoo on higher shoulder then I have to wear long slevve shirts if I stick around to work in retail stores ugh.. but good job grummer for posting that on alldeaf.com :)

You have to post pictures of your tats!
 
I had a lot male clients that where Korea or WW 11 war veterans and they had tattoos in the green and white zones . Their tattoos showed that where a veteran and nothing more.
 
Most of my tattoo locations aren't even on there, how did that happen?

Lol kinda? You can see 3 of them here, my side, 2 by my pelvic bone, and I have one on the same side but in the back, not my butt, more my hip, where my iliac bone is in the back. And one on the top off foot, not my ankle, in my foot

So looking at that the ones on my hip in the front are kind of in between the mustardy colored area and the black and yellow striped area and in the back in between the purple and orange areas. my side and foot tats missed completely
 
Same, Ambrosia - they didn't post your sides! I have one full side and two on the sides of my ribs.

I've got one that runs from the base of my thumb up my wrist... And another on the other wrist. I guess I don't pay taxes and am in prison according to this... Lol same with one on neck and on behind my ear.... All hope is lost. Haha

Haha! I like the sound of the hand one, got me thinking! I'm not done with the one on my side, someday I'll have the $$ to get it finished :D

I have "Nirvana" in Tibetian on my thumb/wrist on my camera hand. It's for a teacher/mentor who died of breast cancer last March because Nirvana means "the extinguishment of pain, life, and suffering"..... on my camera hand because she teased me into a full blown degree in art instead of just one class :) It's my favorite out of all of mine, both because of the placement and the meaning.... I always get comments on where it is though :)

damn that's a lot of black, on a bony part of your arm, must have hurt like hell, looks nice though I like it!!:) I think I'd go with something more subtle but going all the way down my hand, vines and flowers, have to research flower meanings, probably something to do with art or expression. hmmm and probably wouldn't get it til I own my business ;) hey!! and I wouldn't have to pay taxes on it hahahahaha

I have a friend who's a trucker, both forearms are inked up, and his the entire back of his left hand. No prison, and pays taxes :laugh2:

Haha that's the other wrist... It was worse, more bone, and 3 sessions. No black. My shoulder is the same - no black. Only my words (neck, back, feet, hip) are black... All are Sanskrit or tibetian. Flowers are like my wrist.

Look up the language of flowers (Victorian)... That's what my flowers mean.

oh I like that one. I have the flower pics all picked out for my side tattoo. It says "you're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think" I'm going to get an iris for courage/bravery, a gladiola for strength, and pansy for thoughts to go with the qualities of the quote. Rather large flowers, I'm thinking half in half out of the script, and shaded, not full color, just touches of color
