JACKSONVILLE, FL (WTLV) - A man says he drove his car through an area McDonald's because he didn't get his french fries.

Thirty-one-year-old David Spillers told police he lost it when he didn't get the two french fries he had ordered last Friday night.

Police say Spillers drove his vehicle around the play area and into the side of the restaurant before driving away.

A worker at McDonald's apparently followed the trail of broken glass down the street to where Spiller lived.

McDonald's had to close for a few hours for repairs. The side of the building is still covered in plywood and the play area is roped off by crime tape.

Spillers faces charges of reckless driving, and felony criminal mischief.

Well, all he had to do was complain about the missing fries... What was he thinking? Now he damaged his car..:)
 
Talk about stoopid or unbalanced; he ran his car into the building a day or two later, too.......over some french fries? Lol....
 
This shows how people will do anything extreme to get their addictions.
 
He probably missed getting his orgasm from his fries so he had to take out his frustrations on McDonald's.
 
He must be stupid because the just fixing the damage to his car is going to cost more than a 99 cent McDonald meal. Add the repairs to the building and that would be worth many years worth of fries.
 
OH Jeeze over some d**n French Fries! He could've had some common sense to go back there and tell them that he didn't get his Fries, but instead of WRECKING his Car. LOL what an Idiot.
 
The courts should order him to work at McDonald's until his debts are paid. Then he will be so sick of those french fries that cause him to go nuts in the first place.

The judge when sentencing the defendant to 3 years suspended in the state department of corrections, as well as $2,500 fine, restitution, and court costs, he stated, "Would you like fries with that Mr. Spillers?" :lol:
