The way I see the deaf community reacting/behaving, you'd think we live in a country where its "guilty until proven innocent"! Sheesh

Yes,,,,his mother and g/f tried to use GoFundMe for the $$...but that's Illegal to do so for this offense....and the fund raiser was shut down....guilty or not...so now they are trying other ways to get up the $$ to bond him out....

Authentic was just joking about Maverick hiding in my basement....LOL...and Yes, he's still in jail

Well...I've seen screen shots where Mav did admit to the crime to some of his friends...and he fled to Mexico....the friends notified the Police and he was arrested in Mexico and held in Lake County Jail.....Now he pleads not guilty...and another hearing is scheduled for Oct. 13th I believe and perhaps then we will know if he will go on Trial..

Yeah, Authentic was joking. Always! Authentic is being Authentic.

The reason he pleads not guilty is because he is trying to get a reduced sentence. It is his first offense. My guess is he will be sentenced for at least 25 years and more. Can't believe he is a father that who is capable of committing a violent act against his friend- Smashed his head in with a rock? He is a father and he should think twice before he went berserk on his friend. He has already destroyed his relationship with his baby now since he will be off to the prison.

Maverick reminds me of someone I know that likes to sell his art work door to door without a license. He used to ask me for art advice ALL THE TIME. Someone called the police on him several times for soliciting. I used to nag him to get local and state licenses and even gave him location addresses where he can apply for a license. Well, he refuses to do it. He refuses to pay for taxes because living in California is so expensive. He doesn't want any real work like Maverick. I finally told him I was done giving him advice and help. He got pissed off. He is not even allowed to play in any Californian casino, because he got in trouble at casinos. Ended up going to the court. He is banned to play in casino in California permanently. But he still disobeys! Tried to convince him to drive to Nevada instead without violating the law. I cut him out of my life. I am done with him.

Apparently, Maverick has insecurities and self-esteem issues. I bet he had broken the laws in the past without being caught. Wonder what his childhood was like. I bet Maverick accidentally knocked her up and got a baby. He should have gotten a real job. Yeah, it is supposed to be hard, but that's life. I really hope the prison will change his attitude.

PS- I think Maverick's mother is enabling him. She needs to let him go.
 
He has been a long time running with his aggressive ASL in videos, he is not mentally stable and all the scams he has done already... no one is donating to his cause ( by his mother and girlfriend ) everyone is reporting their fundraisers and having them blocked, now his mom and girlfriend are trying to raise money to buy a new car...LOL Sadly, The Mav has already confessed to the murder on numberous videos in detail as well as posted videos of his Flee-ing to Mexico... He didn't help himself in the least. It was bound to happen eventually.

When you plead "NOT GUILTY" you get a heavier sentence due to all the legal jumbo... usually when you plead guilty, they give you a time fitted to the crime but when you lie and fight it, that's when they show no remorse in sentencing you. Usually when someone pleads guilty to murder they'll get 7 years and out, when they plead not guilty and drag it out...in the end they end up with 25 to life with no parole and that's if they don't give him the death sentence, just from what Ive seen in my 50+ years.

Licenses? Here all you need to do is apply for a permit, just renew when it expires if you continue. I guess it depends on where, but local codes here is just a permit for $25 a year.

In California, when you apply for a local license to open your company, naturally, you're required to notify and pay the newspaper companies to put your company out there plus apply for state license (How much you make and you will have to pay taxes plus district tax). You're also required to pay for fictitious name permit every 7 years where you live in California. The funny thing is if you have named your company after your name, you don't need to pay for fictitious name permit however they still send you the letter in case you change your mind. LOL

This guy needs a few more licenses than me because he usually goes to knock the doors in a few different counties like San Diego County, Orange County, and Los Angeles County. San Diego County costs $45 per year. I bet it increased more since I closed my business over there 3 years ago. Orange County and Los Angeles counties cost more than $45 per year from what I heard. 'Living the Dream' is a lie now.
 
You need to pay gov. to knock on doors? pollsters, jhovawitness, mormans, maybe not a bad idea, but what if you want to go to your friends place, flick the lights,
 
Innocent until proven guilty but yeah, it looks that way....

Raising money to buy a car? I didn't hear about that. I didn't follow the news lately. I thought they can't afford to hire an attorney because Maverick has already gotten a public defense attorney? I am sorry but his case is weak. The physical evidence and phone texts are there..

I don’t understand some deaf people’s way of thinking that they will get rich by asking for donations. I won’t give some people money because there are other ways to get what they want. It is usually a sign for me that they will spend money on the wrong things. Their wealth won't last long.
