You're welcome here. And also I like your quote, "Be a first-rate version of yourself, and not a second-rate version of anyone else!!" May I copycat your quote no I can't be second of another of yours? HA!

My quote, has always been the turning point for life, because we must aspire to be ourselves, because that uniqueness is inherent in every single one of us, we must find it and bring joy to the universe with it!!

I would think if you lived by the quote it would help!! Then I will know that it makes a difference!!

% of tip all depends on the restaurant. paper napkins 10-15%, cloth napkins 15-20%
Tips at 20% probably are at the higher end of the scale; there's nothing wrong with 15%.

Personally, I think the wait staff in the "paper napkin" restaurants deserve the same tips as the "cloth napkin" servers. They work hard, too. It all boils down to the quality of service, and showing appreciation for a job well done. Besides, as a Christian, I do leave a polite "thank you for your service" tract with my monetary tip, and I don't think a "cheap" tip would be a good testimony. :)

I've worked at jobs in the past where tips were paid, so I understand their importance to the service workers.

My philosophy is, if you can't afford to leave a decent tip for a meal, then go to a fast food eatery, or get take-out food from a restaurant, or eat at a buffet.
