Hmmm…I can’t find that information anywhere. But I did find several sources which state that Timothy Leary was given the highest bail ever set in United States history following his 1968 arrest for 2 joints. But they don’t say the amount of the bail or if it still holds the record. I also learned that Leary and I have the same birthday.

I also found some references to a Texas serial killer named Robert Durst whose bail was set at 2 billion dollars.

Dear Friends:

I am obviously distressed by the jury's verdict but I continue to take comfort in knowing that I have done nothing wrong and that I have the enduring support of my family and friends.

I will appeal the verdict and continue to fight to clear my name. I believe in the fairness of the judicial system and remain confident that I will ultimately prevail.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the words of encouragement I have received from thousands of supporters. It is your continued support that will keep me going until I am completely exonerated.

I will consider a good job if they convict Kenny-boy Lay and Bernie Ebbers for the Enron and Worldcom scandals that makes Martha's case look like kindergarten.

Martha's 38,000 is that cheap compared to Lay's and his cronies stealing over 100 million. Plus not to mention a LOT pissed-off ex-Enron and Worldcom employees!

Is that a good job by the Bush Administration?......NOT!

I am trying to understand why Martha into this deeply trouble at the begin? I am lost because I do not see the news or newspaper. She stole 38,000 thousand dollars from the stock market Enron and Worldcom ?? 38K (Is that all??) Can she pay it off ??

I remember few years back, congressmen and goverment had their check bounces over million dollars, they paid it off. They did not anything punish by the law enforcement? They got our tax payers to clear up their check bounce with the bank accounting. Is that fair ??
