Marriage proposal gone awry

I too, am glad the woman had the guts to do something like this in such setting like this one. Not many would have the guts to turn it down when it is front of thousands of people.

If it were me, I probably would not have the guts to turn it down in a place like this  but I gotta hand it to her for doing it by what's right.

Agreed. That just goes back to the old saying, "If you don't want the answer, don't ask the question." (At least not in public!)

Ouch!! That sure would been embarrassment for him, I'm surprise she turned his purpose down and ran off. I bet he regret it now that he made it public

Oh yeah, that is really embarrassing moment when that happened. He looks like he got owned. :\

Damn, that jerk. Leaving the guy high and dry in front of everybody.

That was embarrassing.

What's with the bb player laughing at the guy for? He's an idiot thinking some white guy got shot down.

That woman could've waited until they got home to turn him down.

The guy obviously loved her and is devastated and embarrassed. Prolly gone to some bar to get drunk. Poor guy.

Several people think this is staged because of what happen several years ago WIZARDS: Spoofed Proposition

Tracy McGrady, a player for Houston Rocket, is the one who you re speaking of. I bet he laughed bec he probably know that marriage proposal was fake.

Shit, if it happened to me, it'd be my worst nightmare but not sure if it's staged.

Some people don't like to be asked in front of a crowd of people.

Secondly, most women who have marriage on their minds usually drop hints and are expecting that moment, chances are this woman wasn't one of those women.

Thirdly....at least he had a beer to drench his sorrows.

ouch poor guy i am sure that he would wanted to let the world knows how much he truly love her but this one ouch it does hurt when she turn it down but i don't blame how she feels.
i guess that she feels so nervous with that kind of crowd that big. i am sure she wanted private proposal

Yeow, That had to hit right to the heart for the guy who proposed. It's also embarrassing getting shot down front of thousands of people in the audience, especially when it's viewed on the jumbotron.

Yup, same goes over millions who watch on TV, that's very embarrassing and feel sorry for this guy.

I would be shocked if my bf did that. Im married but if he did that. I would panic. I do feel bad for the dude, but at least she did not fake it.

Agreed. That just goes back to the old saying, "If you don't want the answer, don't ask the question." (At least not in public!)

Yep and there's also another saying that goes "Don't ask, Don't tell." :)

Ouch.

Would he want to be friends with her after this? I doubt it.

Even if this is fake or not, still it does happen to people we don't know of.

Oh, no! I feel bad for this guy. Poor guy. He should get a free beer or
get a something else? Or, maybe she should want to personal from getting
an information by the crowd?

I can't believe a basketball player would be laughed at him. What a sad. :(
