Saw that. It reminds me of the movie from the 80s "Poltergeist".
That area is a huge strawberry farm area and mines for Phosphate. Emptying out the wells is one of the reasons why they have so many sinkholes. Thoughts are with the brother and family.

I saw it on the news while eating at McDonald's. I don't have cable right now because I just moved into this house.

Unbelievable! It's 30 feet wide and up to 100 feet deep. However, I still think that they could do it by a helicopter. Sad!
