Man serving 4 life sentences for murder escapes prison

Pretty sure. The newspaper would've said if they had. Plus, IL prisons aren't the easiest to escape from. They were designed that way.

Same with Alabama, but escapes just happen over time.

In AL prisons, all inmates have to wear white jumpsuits (similar to Texan prisons) and they do count all time to ensure that no one is missing.

This guy has nothing to lose...and if he is caught, he'll go "into the hole" for a long time...isolated from everything....for a long time....That would really mess with his head....So hostages would mean nothing to him...just protection for awhile...doesn't matter to him if it's a woman...even a child!....with 4 Life sentences, he'll probably go out "in a blaze of glory"...and take some people with him.
