Police arrest man accused of murder over PS3

DADE CITY (Bay News 9) -- A man police say shot his neighbor over a missing Playstation 3 was arrested Wednesday night.

Edward Keith Stoddard Jr., 28, was arrested after the Pasco County Sheriff's Office SWAT team surrounded a home in Dade City. According to police reports, he surrendered without incident and was booked into the Land O'Lakes jail.

Stoddard is accused of shooting his neighbor, Douglas F. Abrams, 26, on Apr. 24 over a dispute regarding a missing Playstation 3. He is being charged with one count of first-degree murder

Grr... it's easy to blame games and movies when they should simply just blame the person who committed the crime. :roll:
 
Software developers try to make games as realistic as possible, so a minority of people cannot distinguish reality from unreality..:)

Seriously, during the last year or so, I have noticed a lot of news about people in the US and UK who were killed or injured over console disputes. Sad. Hardware manufacturers need to hurry up and release virtual reality..:)
 
That's just crazy. There's more to life than there is to gaming.
