One of things I donated was a VP 100 remote control. I think this is rather obsolete. I wonder if anyone will be able to make an use of it??

Depends. Was it turbocharged?

My thinking that anything related for the deaf, could be donated to Independent Living?...So other deafies could possibly use it. Feel sure that the Hearies would not even know what it was for....unless deafies happened to see it at Goodwill.

Good thinking...I'm not sure how many people use vp 100 those days.

If you rearrange your first sentence it becomes more naughty. :giggle:

You mean remote turbo vibraaaator!!!

Here's the spec!!
Nozzle Area (cm2) = 7
Turbine = Inconel (steel alloy)
Compressor = Aluminium, 60mm wide
Remote Control = 3 speeds, 500 VPS, 1000 VPS and 50K VPS

I am selective about my donations.

Items to benefit the deaf/hoh go to my Deaf Service Center.

Items for business type clothing goes to the agency that helps people get jobs.

Items for home remodeling goes to the Habitat for Humanity store.

Children's toys and all the rest go to Goodwill.

I have different tubs for my donations quite like the recycling bins we have.

I remember one of my former roommates donating his old TTY to Goodwill. My other roommates and I just laughed at the irony of it. lol

I label my old TTY with "Property of the Department of Defence. Top Secret CIA code encryption. Do not use after 9.11.2001".

Boy I wish I could just sit back and watch...

Honestly, I don't think anyone would even think of looking for a remote control at Goodwill. Let alone it being for a videophone. Just saying.

Goodwill is good about putting stuff out there. I volunteered at a sorting center and they use ebay too. They tend to find people who knew something about electronics or something. Then the sorter has a food idea if stuff is worthwhile. I sorted a ton of books and wished I could take some of them home
