I hit 1,000? Oh, hadn't even noticed.
You just did!

i know someone like that. i also hate people who are the way you describe and they accuse you of being the same way.
Those are the ones.
People that are extremely dogmatic and procedural about everything.
<cringe> I am sorry you have to deal with someone like that. An extension of that is people that come up with their own theories about your behavior instead of just asking you why you did something.
i hate people who smother another person without allowing anyone else to be friendly towards that individual.
SNL is good at doing that... making tasteless jokes. Same with Jay Leno.

depending on business though....
For business interactions that's appropriate. But some people take it a little too far in my opinion.
i also know someone like that. someone here on ad accused me of being in "manic mode" and told me to stop my behavior. needless to say, their comments made me extremely mad -- not to mention the fact that i felt like a 5 year old child who was being scolded by their mother. <very angry> i ended up telling them that they weren't my psychiatrist and had no right to tell me whether i was manic or not.
The cycle of abuse.

I would have given them a piece of my mind too... or two, or three...
oh, i did -- believe me. then i added them to my ignore list. <very happy>
