Mac MS Office 2011--opinions please

I can get free Windows 7 Professional due to IT student, of course from MSDNAA, however we still have pay MS Office at student discount.
Nice.

I was one of those people that upgraded to Office 2011 when it was first available, and I've got to say it's a big improvement over the older version. I particularly like Outlook 2011 over Entourage.

I'd agree with you on email part. Mac has always been weak in email part. It's just very lacking and simplistic.

I found the iWork, single use, for $78, no tax or shipping. Does that sound good?

I'm not faculty either. I'm an independent contractor, so I don't have a school account.

Is that $71, total, no tax?

just checked - $71 + $4.97 tax :mad2: so it's $75.97

Just found a better one from [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Apple-MB942Z-A-iWork-09/dp/B0014X2UAK"]Amazon[/ame]. $66.68. no tax. me likey!

Who has tried the Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student 2011? Any issues? Is $129 a good price?

Hi Reba

I am just wondering have you decided which word processor you will use for your MacBook Pro laptop? What make you choose it?

I should find out something tomorrow afternoon. I'll post back here when I know for sure.

It's true, Entourage is worse ever I had. So I am using thunderbird for business and Apple mail for home person. :)
