M$ and Apple against on Blu-ray

Umm. Yes, you can play blu-ray thru Vmware Fusion on a Mac.

I meant OS X, although that could work provided that the computer is powerful enough to run it.

Ah. That's right Apple don't create an app for blu-ray yet due license issue.

I wish netflix have subtitle/CC ready for stream. My parents spend $10 per month for unlimited movie thru stream. :(

Yes, I hope Obama would sign up agreement for it soon before starting on January 2011.

But I can watch some Hollywood movies with subtitles online on my jailbroken iPhone anytimes.

Still problem that it's not everybody know how to do hard way before able to enjoy watch movie with subtitle.

The head of Microsoft is just retarded to sue Andriod and another 13 companies, anyway. No one cares about it. Blu ray is for the win.

I thought it's $8.99, which is 9 bucks. Good thing, Netflix is start to grow to have Subtitle via streaming. I'm so excite!

Sorry, I agree with MSFT and APPL who are against Blu-ray..

Above: can YOU tell the difference? Why I need Blu ray games for PS3?

Result- XB360 console is won! IMO..

I don't think that Blu-ray has influence on graphic and the graphic are usually influence by CPU and GPU.
Exact right.. Unfortunately many people thinking Blu-ray has influence on graphic.

I am witness that compasion of PS2 and PS3, I borrowed PS2 from my friend, due My (Cyber Home) DVD player was died. I watched movies on PS2's screen looks more crisp like PS3 Blu ray does.. why I do need PS3?

Blu-ray for movies are necessary if you have larger HDTV like over 50 inches with 1080p support.

Well, I like blu-ray. It is very useful to carry in alot of information than dvds.

General that all on laptop at such as size, it's pointless. Ha. Nobody would have laptop that large as 50 inch.

Simple: connect HDMI from laptop to HDTV.

Most are good for business. Ha, for few times, I saw them, most of them don't know how to do the converts from laptop to HDTV, even tech-support on lack cable support. That was funny.

That's why blu-ray player to larger HDTV or project is simple and easy without go on trouble thing.

lol, I just learned how to connect my laptop to 1080p HDTV but only problem is messed up the aspect ratio so had found to fix the aspect ratio to fit in 1080p screen.

The problem with laptops is that they are often 16:10 while widescreen TVs are 16:9.

My laptop is 16:9 and just found out to way to fix to get desktop to fit in screen instead of cut off the screen.

 I used to have Cyber home DVD player. It died on me few year later. Cheap brand lol.

I just fixed my son's PS2 and now it's working great and video seem smooth and crisp like you said. I had to raise up DVD drive (raising 4 rubber corners by putting 1/6th inch little washer on each corners. Bolted it in and tightened it because DVD disk was rubbing against DVD enclosure frame causing motor to struggle to keep spinning smoot. Because PS2 DVD drive rubber ends somehow became shortened a bit due to dropping or pressing DVD into snap on spindle hard (typical of kids tho)

Also I had to fix the gaming controller jack on PS2 as well.. The 1st player jack was broken and 2nd player was in good shape. I decide to unsolder both jacks (both are in one pieces) then I use jig saw to cut it half to throw out broken one and shift good one to 1st player. My sons are aware that they can only have 1 players. I may try find 2nd jack replacement later so both can play.

I DO have PS3 and video are clean and crisper on BlueRay than DVD when using HDMI on LCD TV. I can see pore of skins and more details as well.

But if PS3 plays DVD (not Blue Ray), Video appears same as PS2.
