That's a very nice story. Interesting and heartwarming. The pictures are cute, too. We had black Labs, so I'm partial to them anyway. :)

I'm sharing it with my daughter; she loves smart dogs and grumpy cats.

Yes it's a very nice story , I saw it on the news tonight and thought that was cute naming the dog Jedi for the little boy .
 
Aww sweet story with Star Wars names. I think it's my first time I've heard of a dog that does diabetes alert. I know there are dogs trained for seizures, balance and cancer detection and many things.

I heard of dogs being used to do diabetes alert , I have a niece that get migraines and she having her dog train to alert her when she about to get one .
I also heard of dogs being trained to help people with Alzheimer's get back home if they forget which way to go. The person just to say "Home" and their
service dog them bring back home. Dogs are such amazing animals and a lot more intelligent than people give them credit for. Yeah I thought it was sweet too
with Star Wars names. :)
