Do you pay for lotto tickets for fun?

:fruit:

I play once in a while...not very much. The most I've won was a little over $300.00 on one ticket (scratch off). One friend did win $16,000! (one ticket)....

I play from time to time. I'm not like those lotto-addicts who spend $20 to $50 each time.

The luckiest I ever got was with scratch lottery tickets. I went to this gas station with my friend and we got gas. While we were inside paying for our gas, we decided to buy a scratch lottery ticket. When we got in the car and scratched it off, we won. We decided to cash it in and buy different lottery tickets (rare to win twice in a row). When we got back in the car and scratched them, we won again. Out of all 15 different scratch lottery tickets they provided, over 10 of them were winning tickets. We won at least $90. We pretty much earned back what we spent for gas plus much more! ;)

I buy $20.00 worth of PowerBall and $20.00 worth of Hot Lotto every week

Long time ago, I won a $40 on scratch off ticket and even won a $60 pull tabs at the casino.

cool. my co workers and i pay 1 dollars each and come in together twice a week. we dont care if we got split $$. its been fun though. hehe so far no luck for a long long time. thats OK. all of us have good faith. :D

The odds of winning the lottery are way too high to make it worth playing.

I would save the money for something else.

Sometimes, if I'm feeling lucky... once I bought $1 lotto ticket and I won 500 dollars! I was pretty lucky to get that money but ever since, haven't won that much... and that was just like two years ago.

Maybe once per year if I have a good month and can afford to spend some extra money... you never know :giggle:

I gave it a shot, only won some chump change equivalent to what I spent on it. Not really worth obsessing over it, though like some of you said, if I feel something coming on, I'll buy a ticket, but this is still a rare occasion I will do.

I'm not too fond of lottery tickets. I've won $50, $20, and a bunch of $2 and $1. It was better winning over $200 at the casino. But ever since then, I don't gamble anymore. Feels kinda pointless to waste money on $2 tickets.

I think it was better spending about $100 at the arcade to win 2 electric scooters which cost about $120 each.

I play the lotto on occasion when the jackpot gets high. Never won more than a few dollars. I only buy 1 or 2 tickets when I play.

Big waste of time. I worked in retail for 25 years and I cannot tell you how much and how insane people spend on lottery scratch offs and state lottos.

One woman comes in and spends hundreds of dollars on instant lottos and pull tabs everyday. Hell, if she wants to throw away all that money, give it to me so I can pay my bills.

I play sometimes just to try my luck... usually get a few dollars here and there... never the big numbers though!
