There is a sign for the concept LOST. However, titles are often spelled in order to avoid confusion or ambiguity.

TV show "L-O-S-T."

Otherwise, someone might think a TV show went missing.

The sign for the show The L Word comes to mind. I heard it was signed literally the L word, like the sign for "word" but with an L hand shape instead of a G hand shape. Maybe cause Marlee Matlin is in it so she decided to use the sign?
