HOPE YOU FIND YOURSELF A CUTE BOY! :D

Yeah, I've been in and out of so many relationships, it's just not working for one reason or another. She is from the UK, and I thought 'why not?' I'm probably using the wrong avatar to mess up my chances, arent I? lol

Thankyou everyone, you're all beautiful.

It's a bit awkward people being nice, what can I say but thankyou...

I've been getting to know a deaf guy recently but I don't think it's anything special for either of us. It's tempting to just get together for convenience because unlike alot of people, I'm single-at least it seems like everyone is hooked up. I'm starting to hate couples.

It's better to follow your heart and let all that chemistry and passion happen naturally. As they say, love conquers all.

I hate couples too (haha).. but being single sure has its advantages.

Following that heart is great and I totally agree that it's a very important part, but it helps a lot to temper that path with experience and sound judgment too. Not saying that love is bs.. only that what you want is important too!

Treatment= Habit reversal

Clonazepam

You probably will just develop more tics if you leave it untreated.

Anxiety and related to OCD.

Marrying into a new culture won't cure you. You will find a different anxiety.

:gpost:

Yeah, Nicole08, I agree that you might want to get another opinion and get this treated, but nothing excludes you from meeting people and making friends. So :welcome:!

I've dealt with these tics and such in my life, perhaps not to the extent you have, but I've had my share of difficulties. I hope you don't let that shape who you are as a person. Anyone who doesn't like you because of your tics sounds like they're not worth the trouble anyway.

Best wishes and drop a line anytime.

Thanks for the votes of confidence guys.

Hunter, thanks for your sweet message I added you to my friends list.

Bassist, your avatar is cool I just wasn't sure if you were M or F, you sound hot!

Obviously we are from different parts of the world but I'm glad to be part of this group and who knows...

peacex

Previously...

I'm just responding to an earlier post by Hermes, you made a good point and I also came to that realisation.

I would be happier with 'the one' whether he was deaf or not, it's unlikely that 'the one' for me will be a deaf guy since they are in the minority and may themselves be more likely to discover love in the large deaf community since their social life will thrive there with people who they can communicate and empathise with better than anyone else.

Also, being with the right guy will make me much more confident and feel accepted for my quirks, being with a deaf guy for the sake of it is pandering to the problem. It may be harder to adjust to but it'll be worth it, maybe I could go out with a guy who has a tic by the same empathy logic?

all the best...

Welcome!! True love is unconditional so I would say if someone is bothered by a tic then they are not accepting you for who you are and therefore (IMHO) they don't love you in the true sense of love (at least as I see it.) Either way, I wish you all the best in finding someone that is accepting.
