And how do you if a person is around your age?? I would think you be very busy with a 4 months baby. I know would not of had time to go on line
when I had my baby . And I like to talk to people of all ages .

That is good advice, but as you there is no way to keep a older person from contacting the OP who I feel is a young woman.

I was tying to tell the OP to be careful if she really is 22 yo . Yeah I heard about this happening on TV all the time , a 30 or 40 yo man pretending to be to a teenager boy to meet young girls to rape. I hate it when my computer try to finish a word for me. I wanted to type 'heard ' and the automate spell wrote 'herd'

It happens frequently on sites like Facebook and Craigslist....all the more reasons to stay out of chat rooms and avoid posting personal information about yourself. It just an invitation for trouble....

Exactly I am busy with my baby which is why I wasn't replying. I came here to look for friends my own age, I'm not looking to talk to older people deaf or not. I have no interest in that, what's the big deal? if someone specified wanting to talk to someone only located in Florida is someone from another state going to be offended because they can't reply? How stupid. As many of you know there aren't too many sites for young deaf people to go on and talk to.

You beat me to it... I was gonna post " You don't like talking to old perverts....hehehe"
But although Im 45 I will make friends with anyone 21 and up online or in person, we are all grown adults, But if I was to limit my age group to just my age, then Id be missing out on a lot of advice, knowledge and friendships as well.
 
I see a ban hammer coming.... What is with your attitude, never learned to respect the elders? For one thing, I was 25 with my first child, full custody and raised her alone who is 20, out of college and working as a vet full time in surgery. I now have a 3 y.o. son that I care for every day. You could learn a lot making friends but instead you chose to be ignorant.... I could say it, and Im sure most know where Im going with this but I will be nice since youre a baby still but I see your putting on your big girl panties now.

Yeah like the Craigslist killer we had in our state , the guy was a real a

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde ! He was studying to be a doctor and looking up woman on Craglist and killing them.
