We are looking for a female Boston Terrier around the Winter Haven, FL area about a year old (a young BT). If you know anyone who have a female BT in that area that sells for about $100.00 (not expensive), please PM me.
I have owned two Boston Terriers, Tobi and Pepper in the past....both passed away at age 13. I had these two since they were puppies and I adored them both. They both got to go on camping trips with us, they loved their birthday and Christmas toys, and especially Pepper, loved to be cuddled in my bed (which she loved my bed more than hers!) etc. I miss them, and I have my heart set on another Boston Terrier to be with us.
Let me know if you know of a female BT in the Winter Haven, FL area...I would be happy to know if there are any here for under $200.00.
 
You can look up www.petfinder.com to find the dog that you are looking for. Good luck!! There where I found my black lab mix dog. I had her for about 3 1/2 yrs and brought her for 100.00 dollars.

but can be expensive....it's pure breed!
 
Nancy, go to the Woof! board and there are tons of rescue BTs waiting for a good home, hun. I go there all the time and I'm either laughing from the jokes that the guys/gals post or tearing up from the rescue stories they post. Instead of getting a pup, invest in a rescue one. The rewards are ten times fold!!

We went to the local SPCA today to check out some dogs to adopt. :) As we were looking around in the cages at dogs, we talked to a volunteer at this animal shelter if they have any Boston Terriers. She said she loves BTs as much as I do. :) Anyway, she said there isn't one here at the moment, but we can sign up for a "matchmaker" program to get a BT of our own at this SPCA shelter. So we took her advice, and we filled out a paper. Then this worker called us over to be "interviewed" to see if we are compatible to have a pet, and then she said it cost $20.00 for the adoption fee for the matchmaker program, and I went to pay that. :) So obviously we are accepted to have a BT! :) Now, the waiting has begun to see if there is a female BT at this SPCA shelter.
Please pray for us to have this little BT into our home and hearts when the shelter has one. This matchmaker program ends for us in next February (I guess we can resign up next time if they don't find a BT for us) so please pray for us. :)
P.S. I have never dreamed I was going to the SPCA animal shelter today because I am wearing a Boston Terrier T-shirt on!! :D But I am glad I did and the people there have noticed it-- I just love BTs!!

:applause: *hugs* Nancy dear, I sure hope you get the precious BT!! *fingers and toes crosses* (an impossible feat to do but surely I'll do that just for you and that precious BT!!) :) I'm sooo happy for you and I just know you will get that BT to your home, heart and best of all... arms!! Knowing you so well, you'll be posting pictures and telling the cute little antics about the BT. :hug: Getting excited here just for you.. ;)
 
Hello, Nancy, so we meet again. I just wanted to add that animals have a way of paying you back in double for rescuing them from the animal shelter. My husband adoped a cat there, and she is precious and looks at my husband like she adores him! A very special feline, we love her dearly!

So, do not feel embarassed because you are going to the 'shelter for your BT, you will be rewarded ten fold!
 
This thread on Boston's often bring a twinkle to my eye 'cause my mother got 2 Bostons herself. Whenever I get a chance to visit my mother, I'll play with the Bostons often.

Now now now sablescort, you'll be getting PMs from gals swooning over your brooding smile and squealing with delight over how suave you look with that darling BT!! Mark my words everyone, no one can resist a handsome man with a beautiful Boston Terrier!! Lookysee at the luck I've been having, thanks to Daisy my BT!! You see why I refuse to allow Chris to walk Daisy all alone, I know chicks will run after him.
