LOGO chanell WTF?!?!

hehehe, Dish Network will losing alot of gay consumers, also same with skateboarders/BMXers because they refused to make deal to bring Logo and Fuel TV to their receiver.

That the main reason why I downgrade my cable service, no CC on that LOGO channel, if they do provide CC then I'll upgrade or would you be willingly to interpreator? Heh

I glad there LOGO/NFL Network don't have/not all CC because I don't have an LOGO and NFL Network, because I don't need to be subscribe to watch them without the captions. :) However, NFL Network and Logo are not all captioned so what about Comcast and DIRECTV looks at them without captions, it would be losing revenues
for cable/satellite companies because there is no CC on these new networks as LOGO while is not authorized if anyone don't subscribe by Comcast or DIRECTV. That's good for deaf and hard-of-hearing not jealous of LOGO or NFL Network if don't have captions, because there are not all captioning in LOGO and NFL Network.
So what it would be do without captions on LOGO and NFL Network? Comcast and DIRECTV should be lobbying to head into the congress and lawmakers need attention from Comcast and NAD for in addition requiring to be closed captioning for the first-time shown in the network as no more 4-years network exemption law.

:topic: Few years ago, in 2002: TechTV begun captioning by 2002, but formerly
cable company AT&T refused to carry me, but there is channel 294. When I tried to call a cable company,
but they was refused, I was upset something of TechTV was missing outhad closed-captioned. I was gotten jealous of
TechTV had CC. But now G4 is bad! I love TechTV. I miss TechTV. :(

Seems to me the channels with less m oney don't have the cc. It's all about money. Maybe required after channel reaches a certain success. Not sure how it works but seems that way.

You misunderstood, it's not cable or sat companies fault about missing CC issue, it was from channel network, such as Nick, MTV, Fuse, Fuel TV and others aren't bring CC support on some tv shows, also stop blame on cable or sat companies to make lose your subscribe.

Now, I missing something, so I can say, "I don't blame cable or
satellite. It was from these channel networks like Logo or NFL Network
don't have captioning, but cable is providing closed-captioning. If have
captioning on NFL or Logo will have CC through my cable company, that means
cable company would be not block the captioning data.

I doubt that Comcast would be disrespectful to deaf people, it was from channel network.

Boycott from Comcast wouldn't be solve the problem, though.

I e-mailed LOGO about it a while ago..

Hey I e-mailed LOGO a while ago about it and this was the e-mail they sent back...

As the first and only 24/7 LGBT television and broadband channel, our goal is to provide great programming for everyone in our community. We're aware that many of our viewers are hearing impaired and because of this we fully intend to close caption all of our programming.

Unfortunately, as a new channel with over a thousand hours of programming, this process will take some time; this is why all new channels are given a period of four years to caption all their programming. Even older programs that have aired with captioning on other channels needs to be recaptioned for Logo, because the editing process that prepares these shows for our channel causes the old captioning to break up.

We've prioritized all of Logo's new original programming, and you'll notice that all of our original shows are captioned from the first time they premiere. As the channel grows we'll continue to caption more of our programming, and within a couple of years everything on Logo will be closed captioned all the time.

We apologize for any frustration this delay may cause and ask that you please bear with us as we undertake this massive project. We understand how important closed captioning is to our audience, and will do everything we can to address this issue as quickly as possible. Thanks very much for writing, your feedback and support are very important to our success.

All the best,
Your Friends at Logo

It's annoying but I guess just gotta sit and wait
