A little girl born deaf she given surgery and gets meningitis few months later gets CI contracts meningitis again this time due to CI. I understand to get meningitis twice is millians to one or more I understand she had limbs amputated...CI should have waited until child was of an age to have informed choise..mostly they good but I hope parents wait now.
was on news this week ...wdys may get link I don't know how

Where did you see this? That would help anyone looking for a link.
 
I was given a meningitis shot 8 years ago before being Implanted.

Presumed it was "standard procedure" as the "risk" of "getting meningitis" was known for a number of years..
