Liberal BBC says the wrong thing in article headline

Actually, prior to swimming lessons, Hubby's dad took him to the end of the dock at the lake and threw him in. It was rather unexpected and shocking (he was just a little boy then) but he did learn how to swim.

I was just about to say that.....that is exactly how I learned. When I got out dad said thats lesson 1.

BBC is liberal media? then good luck.

My family taught me, I think. It's so long time ago, lol. I think probably when I was a toddler when they started teaching me to swim. So I don't really have any memories of learning how to swim. It's just something I have always known. So I think it's best if started at early age. So it can be a natural thing.

I know one university where students are required to take a swim test. If they failed that, then they are required to take a swimming course. This is set up after one student drowned (I forgot what the situation was), and university did not want this fate to happen again so they made it mandatory for all enrolling students if they want to study at that university.

My daughter was in swim lessons before she could walk......8 or 9 months old. It was pretty awesome. She could hold her breath and swim 20 ft by the 4th lesson
