I have a recipe for Lemon Chiffon Cake that starts from the two packet style Angel Food Cake mix. But. . . the Angel Food Cake mix with two packets (separate egg whites and flour mixture) is getting harder and harder to find. The advantage of starting from this style mix is not separating all those eggs yourself but still beating the egg whites alone.
I can post the recipe but it takes a lot of words to describe it compared to just doing it.
