Left or Right hand

Ok this is a little weird.. I am left handed for most things, writing, eating, cooking, reading (i hold the book with my left hand) BUT!!!! My right hand is my dominant hand when I sign. Kinda weird isnt it?

And just so you know, there is a reason people cant cut with their left hand.. Normal scissors are made for right handed people, if used with the left hand, they dont cut well and seem to just press down on the paper. But so many lefties are used to using their right hand with scissors, that left handed scissors are hard to find.

Also, a few years ago the Mall of America had a "lefty" kiosk. They sold things for left handed people, like notebooks and scissors. Other things were for decor, pencils, mugs, etc. The lefty notebooks were cool, the spiral was on the right side, but the margins and hole punch were on the left side :) I bought 2 (they were kind of expensive, and I was like, 12 years old) but they later went out of business :(

Generally right-handed when it comes to most things, although, can use the left for opening things such as lids on jars, etc., bat left-handed....

Btw, each hand KNOWS what the other IS doing!! ;) :lol:
 
Ambidextrous when it comes to holding a book whilst reading, and signing when I use the two handed abc's. Heck, I can fingerspell in ASL fast regardless of which hands I use.

Mainly, I'm a righty and can do most anything.

Strange, my right side is a bit weaker than the left. Weird, right?
 
I am Right-hand for almost everything, Cooking, Cleaning, Fingerspelling ASL, Writting, and etc. :)




Left-hand for: Driving, Pretty much not as much on left-handed. ;)
 
I'm right-handed. I do just about everything with that hand. The exception to this, of course, is when I have to use both hands to accomplish a task, and then, I do. :)

Lefty does raawks! I hope my kid turns to be a lefty when she grows up :D
 
Writing mostly RIGHT..
Mouse mostly RIGHT..
Driving mostly both hands or left or right doesn't matter.
Scissors cutting mostly.. Right
Throw objects stuff or sports mostly: Right
Catch are useful both hands.. depends.. If you're in playing baseball game, use left hand "catch" Right hand as throw!
Baseball bat swing mostly... Right
Dart... use right hand throw good shooter!!! :D
Middle Finger... always both hands.. HAHAHHA..
Rest of case FINGER SPELLING.... USE RIGHT HAND... left hand(ugh sloppy)

I use my right hand for the majority of the time: mouse, eating, etc.
 
I use my right hand for everything but as for fingerspelling i use both (not at same time) depends on how tired i am lol, like if i seem to be unable to spell a word correctly on right hand i switch to left hand and it usually success for some reason.

i cant think of a single thing i use for my left hand except for typing.. i use both for typing... hmmm...
