Traitor, and its freaking awesome. A very intelligent film which left me thinking too, I'd give it 8.5/10 for this type of intellectual thriller genre with the religion and/or political backdrop.
This one brings in terrorism into a clear insight. That film was quite a journey, i came away with fresh understanding in how terrorism might operate, its just a fucking big mess, just as so the film clearly puts this into perspective. Funny I never saw "iraq", "oil' other words that rubs off misplaced emotions, it is stays poised, remaining very focused on the story. I liked it, the ending was a bit chilling, kind of left me wondering sure the conscious minds are at work, but how many? and for those have been made redeemed but I still wonder...
An excellent film, I hope they would raise this for university film studies, this deserves a lot of discussion as it is (to me) a very, very good attempt to reflect what's happening. "The Kingdom" is good, but I believe Traitor has a better balance of 'us' and 'them' in a way that it shows there are evil doers from each sides, the lies we get from the media did a terrific job to make hatred going each way. Great for analysis. It's just incredible.
Slow at places, but the storylines were never 'padded up' with wasteful scenes. Superb.
Cheers
