I love this movie more and more with each viewing.

This is one of those movies you want to able to enjoy but it ends up being kinda dull. Sure it has its moments but I wouldn't recommend it. There is a whole lot of Hebrew and Yiddish vocab/slang throughout the movie and w/o subtitles.
The Trotsky
Leon Bronstein is not your average Montreal West high school student. For one thing, none of his peers can claim to be the reincarnation of early 20th century Soviet iconoclast and Red Army hero, Leon Trotsky. When his father sends Leon to public school as punishment for starting a hunger strike at Papa's clothing factory, Leon quickly lends new meaning to the term 'student union', determined as he is to live out his pre-ordained destiny to the fullest and change the world.

Fresh teen/coming-to-age comedy that is surprisingly very political driven. No pie fucking in this one but it will definitely appeal to viewers who fancy and appreciate a intellectually smart comedy.
White Oleander
A teenager journeys through a series of foster homes after her mother goes to prison for committing a crime of passion.

Wonderful film. The cast is phenomenal. Alison Lohman and Michelle Pfeiffer were born for these roles.
