Lansing Illinois

any Deafies in or around lansing illinois?

I had to look it up and it turns out that Lansing is a southern suburb of Chicago. I will never be a Deafie (I hate the term and am glad I only see it here) and besides it is far north of me. That makes it logical that as a small town I had never heard of it.
