Oh my goodness! never heard of that one!
hehe, are u sure u didnt "miss" one day?
:giggle: j/k!!
No, I didn't miss one day. Even if I did, missing one day doesn't make a difference. BC pills are just not perfect.

It was a big surprise to me. I was almost three months pregnant before the doctor confirmed it.

i used to take bc pills before.. then stopped when i was 20.. then used depo shots in 99.... and now?? none of it.. I am tied as I had a tubal ligation.. less worry... but period painful and heavy at times.. i might have to go to dr about this one.. grrr..

I voted no. I stopped taking them soon after I got married 24 yrs ago.

Now, men will blame us for controlling them and having children
when they don't want children.

Men should get Vasetomy.... but noooo men like to spill sperm
everywhere, being careless... cause it is so hot.

Patrica, you shut up! Argggg

No, I don't take BC, because it messed up my period cycle.

I have been on bc for years now mainly for the fact that I can guess when I get my visitor within a 6 hour window. That is pretty sweet. As for sex goes, still careful because, it's true, it's NOT 100%. I can barely afford gas; I don't need a kid too!

*I wonder how many men will read this thread...?*

Sheila, consider an IUD. They end up costing 2-3$ a month because a single device can be worn for several years. I think it's very much a good option for those that have been on hormonal birth control for many years. They're generally more effective than hormonal birth control and at that much cheaper, plus less hassle. You only need to get a new one every 5-12 years depending on the iud used.

I used took birth contorl pills but they made me sick. I didn't like them. I dont use anything because my husband got fixed.

I voted no, since I never took birth control pills....

I'll tell you... NO IUD! Read more info about IUD:

I never took BC since I do get miscarriage easily and yes it does hurt me to have miscarriages.

My best friend's daughter had to take BC when she was 13 yrs
old cuz of heavy periods so it helped lessen the flow. Guess it
works for different women, ...weird, huh?

I started taking mine when i was 13. And i can't imgaine having some of the problems some of you have had with it. BC has been a blessing for me! No more laying in bed for a week screaming my period now lasts 3 days barley any bleeding some craps but nothing as severe as i got without them. But than again because of my Endometriosis things might be different.
