KFC had girl with facial scars from dog bite leave b/c people where uncomfortable

We should all call KFC corporate to complain about their franchises treatment of this little girl and then boycott all KFC's until they either make a public apology to the girl and her family, fire the manager of the franchise who told the girls family she would have to leave and make sure corporate takes the franchise away from the current owners and gives it to someone with a little compassion. I don't go to KFC anymore, but if I did, I would stop now.

So what happens to the people that were calling for the jobs and heads of those employees? The ones who did death threats and threw drinks and food at them through the drive through window? What about the ones that had a knee jerk reaction to an over the top sob story and refused to ever eat at KFC ever again? Some people annoy me. Liars are even worse. At least KFC is still honoring that $30,000 pledge last I heard.

Unfortunately, it is hoax.

I have no respect for little girl's grandma.

It's fake. The grandmother lied to get attention and money.

The latest report is that it did NOT happen at KFC.

The KFC restaurant is calling it a hoax. They hired a private eye to look into the allegations and since the restaurant has no cameras and don't take down peoples names when placing orders they can neither deny or confirm that it happened. KFC corporate is still willing to give the little girl the $30,000, so read into it what you will. To me it sounds like something was said because why would a corporation give someone 30 grand if it was a scam?

From what I am reading KFC is NOT committed either way as to if it was a hoax or not- they're still investigating. The 30,000 is still on the table regardless of the outcome.

What was interesting is that in Reba's article it said that originally the grandmother said it happened at a KFC that turned out to have been closed for years. The other two are near the hospital- which I get- nice break from treatments/appointments etc. But at the same time odd that they'd be picking on a toddler if it's true that many other patients with far worse looks/conditions dine there without a peep from anyone.

I get maybe grandmother may be hazy as to which KFC they actually went to and I can't fathom why the toddler would be asked to leave- horrible what happened to her but on the grand scheme of things she is still a cute kid. I can see why if this is a hoax, they did this... KFC is a big conglomerate- they have all this money- why not hit them where it hurts.

It's a shame... some people are trying to be greedy these days to pay medical bills. That is what karma does and what comes around gets back to you. I would not be surprised KFC might file lawsuit against the grandmother.

No, it was independent/private investigators, not affiliated with KFC so nice try.

You believe in little girl's grandma that lied to all of us, that's not good.

I despise how addicted the media has become to running these poorly verified stories to get the mod incited. So many turn out to be fraudulent. All these donations the public is willing to shell out for viral stories would do so much more good in the hands of established local charities.

Just like Jiro saying "gimme gimme gimme"... That's lead to less help.

No, Seb said KFC is calling little girl's story is hoax and they (referred as KFC) hired someone to investigate.

That why I said - it is not KFC but just independent investigators, not affiliated with KFC.

KFC did actually investigate the matter -

UPDATE: KENTUCKY FRIED HOAX | Laurel Leader-Call
As first reported in The Laurel Leader-Call, KFC officials have confirmed that their investigation shows that none of its employee asked 3-year-old Victoria Wilcher to leave one of its Jackson restaurants because her appearance was disturbing other customers. Rick Maynard, a spokesman for KFC Corporation released the following statement:

“Like the rest of America, the KFC family has been moved by the story of Victoria’s injuries and recovery. After the alleged incident was reported to us, two investigations took place, including one by an independent investigator. Neither revealed any evidence that the incident occurred and we consider the investigation closed. We are honoring our commitment to make a $30,000 donation to assist with Victoria’s medical bills. We hope everyone keeps Victoria in their thoughts and prayers. She will certainly be in ours.”
