KFC had girl with facial scars from dog bite leave b/c people where uncomfortable

Yeah I read that few days ago. That's terrible. Their business is more important than the feelings of the girl and her family. They have no morals. It doesn't matter if they apologized for their actions. The damage was done.

That's franchisee's problem.

Too much halo effect for you.

Wrong! If KCF had the nerve to tell a small child to leave b/c of facial scars they could very easily try to do this a wounded vet. I do not want to support a business that had no compassion for a child that was attacked by a pitbull and lost an eye .

Blame on FRANCHISEE - do you understand about how business is working?

Most KFC are franchise, not corporate-owned, so franchisee (or managers) is responsible for their action.

I ate KFC for many years and never have a problem, but KFC apologized to victim and franchisee damaged the KFC's reputation.

I agree with Foxrac- the manager and whomever else (including the customer(s) ) involved in that franchise/store are the ones who are to be held responsible, not the corporation overall. At leas now with this incident, the corporation can work on ways to provide appropriate training etc for the managers of the franchises across the country. The HQ stepped up and are PAYING for her surgery (kudos!).

I don't normally or have in a long time eaten at KFC but for me I would refuse to eat at THAT particular store- anywhere else-- they deserve a chance until I see just how they act in that particular place.

While I do see why KFC is under fire for this, but I can't help but think of the a**hole who complained in the first place...

And you don't get what I am saying ! I am blaming the manger and would not eat at place that would kick out a little girl like that ! That could had been my daughter . She was attacked by a Russian Wolf Hound on her face and came very close to having an eye bitten off. This story is hit very close to home with me. And you can rant all you want , but I am not changing my mind how I feel .When my daughter ,hearing dog and I was given a hard time at a restaurant , my daughter called the head office and spoke the head of the restaurant to tell him what happen . We knew he was responsible for his manger's actions . So I know business work.

You should clarify your post. :dunno:

She is beautiful and those employees/employee needs to be fired. I know they have a right to refuse service but come on really?! A little girl that had no control over what has happened to her. What if it was your daughter? If KFC really did this I think its wonderful and I hope they fired the idiot/idiots that were so mean to her. I own a pitbull and not all are like that, its all in how they are raised. I have three boys and both my male and female are the sweetest dogs to them wouldn’t hurt a fly.

Congratulations! A parent that is willing to gamble with their kids safety just so you can own a dangerous effing dog! I’ve seen the best raised pit bull flip like a light switch! Have fun explaining that to your kids if it ever happens! I would personally choose my kids over a dog anyday!
It made me laugh! Anyway, "I’ve seen the best raised pit bull flip like a light switch!" Is that possible? YES!

I’ve seen the best raised <insert dog breed here> flip like a light switch! Have fun explaining that to your kids if it ever happens!

Fixed that.

Doesn't matter what breed- any dog can "flip like a light switch"- people who are anti pitbulls don't get it.

The Chow I baby sat was a sweet dog before and after he bit the crap out of me. I don't claim to understand why the owners kept him after he bit me but that's not my place - but he never was aggressive or bit anyone after that (and they had kids under the age of 6 at the time).
