I couldnt hang all the clothes in the closet. I was when I was younger. I used to love to hang up all my t-shirts and pants but now I dont anymore. Life changes

I understand you perfectly clearly from the very begining. Some people don't get it yet! I found in your husband's situation very STRANGE! haha. Perhaps he's enjoying folding all the times I guess. As someone here suggest to have hungers by the dryer, perhaps will convience him to hung right away from the dryer that need to be hunged? That's what I do laundry room right by the dryer. At least you can try that way. If you do .... pssst let me know how's things go... okay

I am not talking about socks underwear pj's or the clothes that will go in the drawers.

I am talking about only the clothes that will get hung up. Just was wondering if anyone else is like my husband..must fold ALL of the clothes even the ones that will be hanged up in the closet? It is not really important..just something I find funny since I never met anyone who did that.

I was just curious that's all. No biggie :)

Yea, the next time we have laundry day, I am gonna get all the empty hangers and put them on the table where he usually folds the clothes without saying anything. See what he does. It is like an experiment, isnt it. :giggle:

Will let u know. Hope I remember to do it.

Sounds like alot of extra effort going to waste. I only fold items that are going to be hung up if I can't get around to them immmediately to minimize wrinkling. Maybe he finds it soothing/relaxing? :giggle:

After finish use dryer and will have some clothes goes to hung it up and folding the clothes put into the dresser..

Great idea....

Umm.. I was just thinking maybe your hubby has a habit of folding clothes even though he knows that some clothes are needs to be hang up :dunno:

Almost all of my clothes are hung, little things like undies, bras, etc, are folded and they go on the shelves in my closet. I don't have a dresser yet, haven't bothered to buy a new one since I moved here. I have a big walk-in closet so no need, anyway.

you can fold an bra?:eek3:

Sure. Bras, undies, socks, pantyhose, slips, PJ's, scarves, hankies, sweaters, bathing suits, etc. That's the only way to keep things neat, organized, and easy to find. :P

lol let him be ... waste his time thou. I don't do that. I just leave them on my bed and I hang them in the closet.

Oh..I let him be...I just think it is funny. He enjoys it I guess.[/QUOTE]

Hey, as long as he's doing something to help out, I say let him do it anyway he wants to! If he's like most men, when you try to correct him, he'll just stop helping!:giggle:

Believe me, that though has crossed my mind. It is a possibility when it comes to his clothes. He must iron all of his clothes even his socks. Gotcha! I was kidding about the socks..hehehe. Anyways yea, he must have his clothes perfectly ironed before he can go out in public in them. If he has OCD then as long as it is about his clothes and doesnt interfere with our daily lives, no problem with me.

I did ask him why once cuz I was curious and he said cuz he wants to. Since then, I leave him be. I will still do the hangers on the table idea and see what he does. If he doesnt use the hangers and continue to fold all of the clothes, then I guess it is just one of his quirks.

I should vote both...

If there´re dryer during winter time, then I hang up straight way after dryer and fold sweaters, T-shirt, etc for drawers, closet...

If there´re clothes to hang up at outside during summer time, then I fold all the clothes from outside... then go upstair to hang up in the wardrobe or put them in the drawer...
