Just wondering...

Do you fold the clothes that will get hung up?

Ever since we lived together, my husband insists on folding the clothes which is GREAT cuz I hate to fold the clothes. I am terrible at it due to no patience..lol

Anyways, my husband takes alll day to fold the clothes cuz he must fold them perfectly..like perfect creases or whatever. Fine by me but I dont understand why he must fold the clothes that will be hanged up in the closet. Mind u, about we hang about 70% of our clothes so I told my husband just to lie them flat and I will hang them. He said no way..they must be folded. I just finished putting the clothes away and I am thinking to myself "Boy I am ruining those perfect creases" when I unfold the clothes to hang them. Also, I told him that it will save him hours of folding but he said not to bother him about it so I have backed off.

It just doesnt make sense to me so wondering if any of u must fold alll the clothes that will get hung up? If you do...why? :giggle:
 
I hung clothes from the dryer on the side each time that need to be hunged. Then grab all hunged clothes to closets.
 
I am use hung clothes right after done dryer.

lol let him be ... waste his time thou. I don't do that. I just leave them on my bed and I hang them in the closet.

I mean for the clothes that u will hang up in the closet...do u fold those and then unfold them to hang them up? That is my whole point. I know we all need to fold our undies, socks and pj's for the dressers.
 
I fold right after the dryer. No room to hang up in the closet because, of tooo many clothes in there. Too full. :lol: So, I am usin' them in the drawers. I have about 3 drawer tables.
 
I normally hang up my shirts, nice pants and sweaters and fold my socks, undies, jeans, and t-shirts after the dryer.
 
The clothes that are to be hung, I hang them not fold. The other clothes that are to be fold then I fold them.
 
Almost all of my clothes are hung, little things like undies, bras, etc, are folded and they go on the shelves in my closet. I don't have a dresser yet, haven't bothered to buy a new one since I moved here. I have a big walk-in closet so no need, anyway.
 
After I dry the clothes, I usually hang them on hangers for mostly shirts and t-shirts. Pants go in the drawer.

Is it possible that he's folding them since it's not being hung up right away...and to lessen the chance of the clothes getting all wrinkly???

Would it help to get some extra hangers and place them by the dryer...and whisper a thing or two to the hubby about having a bit of 'extra' time on hand if he won't waste it on folding, and more folding... :naughty:

i only hangs most shirts after washer. never put in dryer. its shrinks, wrinkles, less odor.. so after washer, its smell good, less wrinkles. no more shrinks.
 
I couldnt vote bec I do both!! I wish you added BOTH. Only fancy or dress pants and tops I hang. Tshirts, undies, socks, sweatpants I fold it.
 
I am not talking about socks underwear pj's or the clothes that will go in the drawers.

I am talking about only the clothes that will get hung up. Just was wondering if anyone else is like my husband..must fold ALL of the clothes even the ones that will be hanged up in the closet? It is not really important..just something I find funny since I never met anyone who did that.

I was just curious that's all. No biggie :)
