I have watch STFBI...and I know its just a tv show...but I was wondering[me being a hearie] do any of you guys have a dog like sue does.....I know he does stuff in the show to let sue know when someone comes up etc...it seem to help her alot...

Hearing dogs work somewhat like how seeing-eye dogs work for the blind--although, I may be able to hear fairly well, yet, suppose I'm sleeping, fire alarm goes off or any other noises I wouldn't be able to hear and being alerted by a hearing dog surely serves its purpose other than being a loveable companion.

i used to have hearing dogs.. they werent certifed but close enough as they all helped me hear the door, intruders and etc..

my dog mac is going deaf and partly blind.. he used to be my hearing dog.. but not anymore.. hes just a companion..
