These cars are the new CTA 5000 series. They replace the CTA 2600 Series, which are more than 40 years old, and are being retired. These new cars are SMOOTH. Better rides than the 2600 cars.

Now, when they first entered service, there was a problem with the brakes, which has since been fixed.
 
This is some of the early CTA cars-- the 2000 series, long since retired. I never had a chance to ride these.

These are the current 2600 Series, in process of being retired and replaced by the 5000 series. The entire 2600 fleet should be fully retired sometime this year or next year.

if you able check out feb floodings in sommerset England...the sea washing track away..it was very scary for people on train
