Just curious ..

Has anyone been reading through the comments under the article?

It seems to be the common opinion that this was all about the money. Now, either there are a whole lot of misogynists out there with a deep seated distrust of women, or ... this was all about the money.

It also appears that the majority of those with these opinions are ... women. So, maybe they are misogynists?

For women who hate men - called misandrist.

No agenda. Just an observation over the years.

And as for being married, I have on occasion given a thought to your present wife when you were ranting about women, with a bit of pity.

So, it is an agenda then. And how is this a "rant against women"?

Please, spare us your pity, my wife is a happy mom and a happy wife. Trying to "guilt" me may work on your husband, but it has no effect on me.

I don't see any comments directed in a hateful way. The majority seem to agree that the wife only had a change of heart because of the money.

I just share with you about new vocabulary, that all.

Thanks, I do know the word, and I think every guy has experienced misandry and every woman has experienced misogyny.

When a father's input is not valued, that is a form of misandry. It is outright misandry when he is given an ultimatum to choose between his child or his wife.

No parent should ever be given such an ultimatum. Plenty of women have been given such ultimatums by the step father (i.e. "its either me, or your kids")

It's hard to truly understand the intentions of the wife based on an article. For example, there's this quote:

Samuel Forrest says it was clear her initial ultimatum was the result of cultural misunderstanding and pressure from her family.

For all we know that could be just some BS story the wife told her after finding about the 500k donations.

But one good aspect is how the wife moved from Armenia to New Zealand. It's not like she's moving next door and she can't just easily change her mind. That does show a serious commitment.

I don't feel it's my place to judge her true intentions because for one thing I'm not involved in their lives in any way and I can't really know what's been happening behind the scenes. So whatevs.

Your welcome.

Of course, I have a lot of problems with deaf women at Gallaudet and they are extremely dramatic so no wonder, I'm not interested to date with those nuts.

I have to deal with one of stalker who is woman in my state and she demanded me to date and marry to her so she told me that her child needs father so I told her - no thanks. I know that she is welfare queen and demand me to give all of my money to her child and I'm not biographic father of her. That stressed me out and I no longer to attend the deaf events in Alabama. I told her that I'm gay man (I'm bisexual and pretended to be gay man) but it didn't work out when she told me that being gay is illegal and told me that I could go to jail. She told me that she reported to police and I just lol lol lol lol lol... I blocked her.

I don't experience much issue with deafblind people - they are less dramatic when compare to deaf people, also very touch and funny.

Making demands?

Poor kids :( where is the biological father and why is he not supporting the kids?

:ty: for fixing my errors.

She did many time under different FB account and she begged me when I attended deaf event, including camp, also she went run into different men as well.

Some of my friends told me that biological father surrendered and not want contribution for his kid, also he had a lot of problem with woman that begged me and other men.

I'm focusing on medical issues so I'm not ready for family, also I'm not interested to date with welfare queens, including culturally deaf.

I know what you are saying. You don't want to be someone's free babysitter.

Children are a huge responsibility, and I think it is a prudent measure on your part, to realize you are not ready for the responsibility. It means you are taking this very seriously.

Yes, I agree with you about have children are huge responsibility.

I believe it is cruel to raise the children in poverty and it is not my way to raise the child in miserable life - they deserves to have a great future. I believe that having a child require stable family setting and plenty of income to support.

I noticed many children that raised in poverty ended up to be into criminal career or drug addiction that I don't want my child to suffer like that way. I noticed that most of domestic violence happen in poor families.

I think the spoiled rich kids that get drunk and flee to Mexico with their mother are the worst ... imho.

Those problems happen in any social class. The rich can just afford better lawyers.

I forgot about spoiled rich kid from Texas that killed 4 people and escaped to Mexico. :eek3:

Yes, I remember about some poor kids got accepted into Ivy League universities, also Stanford University too with full financial aid (no loan) to cover everything. That's true if you could get rare fortunate.

See? There you go. It's all about how you treat other people.

Getting back to the topic, I do think the mother in this situation was selfish. What a lot of people don't realize (but many do) is that when you become a parent, life no longer revolves around you (if it ever did). You cannot just get up and decide to go see a movie if you want to. It becomes a team effort to raise the kids. The entire family is involved - when you have a child, you have made your brother an uncle, your sister an aunt, and their children cousins, your parents grandparents, etc. every person in your family has a role they must play - as a parent, you do not get the final say in anything, it must be agreed upon by both parents.

This mother probably did not realize that the earth no longer revolved around her, and it did not matter anymore what she wanted out of life. When she became a mom, life revolved around her child. the child forever united her husband's family with her family. His parents became grandparents, just like her parents became grandparents etc.

If you want a happy life, you will just do what your wife tells you to do ;) and that is why it is important to choose wisely. The arguments you have while dating - pay attention to them, it reveals how a potential life mate will be after married.

I paid attention to how my wife treated other people before we married. I also paid attention how she was when around children. I have no regrets - she is a wonderful person, and a wonderful mom. I am the luckiest man alive.

Foxrac

a big problems in the deaf community. Absent deaf fathers. But less than the black fatherhood problems.

No it is about you and how you treat people here. You're too much of a feminists and passive possessive for a man..

See? There you go. It's all about how you treat other people.

Yeah, I am with dogmom .... ???

Everybody here knows I am not a feminist. I am not sure what you mean about "passive possessive" and to me, it sounds like another "made up" condition to make people feel superior about themselves and their intellect.

(edit: by "feminist" I am referring to the push to have more rights than men, not equal rights - if you want to be a combat soldier, the physical requirements should not be lowered just because of your gender).

Armenia not best place in world bring up Down's child. This lady will now be NZ citizen the whole family will get decent chance and Downs child will be treated with lot more help than in Armenia.
This two sided story and as they living as happy family now must say something for reasons they did what they did.
in NZ you have prove you got the money for on going heAlth care if want live there at least that aplys to commonwealth citizens as he already NZ not sure how it effects his child who Armenian I would imagine the child is now full NZ subject and so can mum be now they not divorce and she back with him..I don't think that money was the issue
