Just saying hello... :wave:
I'm a hard of hearing teenager who was born with a moderate hearing loss (which progressed to profound) for unknown reasons. I've been implanted with the Cochlear Implant on both sides but currently only wear my right side (never got used to the left side yet). I'm oral and know just a few signs. I'm mainstreamed into a local high school and I joined the crew(rowing) team and love it no matter how frustrating or painful it gets. I am still trying to accept myself fully for who I am and I'm getting there. If anyone is interested.... snared soul is my blog about my experiences with crew and more.
