Judge rejects divorce for transgender pregnant man

Again you are viewing this issue through a very narrow scope. Best to move on.

Again, short answer is no.

My solution is simple - restriction on same sex marriage hurt transgender due to doubt and confusion in court that handle with divorce case so remove the ban on same sex marriage is simplest thing to do it.

It's not a question, it is a statement. You are viewing the issue through a narrow scope. MEANING, you are not looking at the entire picture. This is why I suggested that we move on. :)

That what you think but my short answer is no.

I do know about situation with between court and same sex marriage that already affect transgender.

You started dispute my post #9 at first place so you should move on at your own by stop reply to my post and stop make any nonsense story by call narrow scope, not following, etc. I'm not obligated to move on and continue to discuss indefinitely until you stop reply my post. My post #9 is opinion statement and it has no direct side with any AD members, even none of connection with you.

I don't agree with your post #8 but not interested to dispute or reply because I respect your opinion.

Hate filled bigots make me sad. That being said, obviously this mans marriage is considered valid in another United States state... if he wants a divorce, then he should be able to get divorced. Since the marriage is not recognized in Arizona it would be largely symbolic, but that peace of mind is good to have. I think the important thing is that they did make gestures to make sure the children had visitation, were provided for, and that the woman gets no alimony.

If we kept our noses out of other peoples bedrooms and love lives and allowed marriage equality, this would not be a problem.

Yes, I'm totally agree with you.

1) The judge's ruling is based on jurisdiction. He made the correct call there.

2) Technically, seeking government's acceptance of gay marriage is inviting government into the bedroom.

So you believe you are looking at the ENTIRE picture and that legalizing gay marriage SIMPLIFIES things from a legal stand point. Ok, I am sure you are right....no way at all that will lead to even more lawsuits and fraud. :)

(FYI, I believe you are confusing discussion and dispute)

In bold - I don't understand about what are you saying about more lawsuit and fraud.

It seems that this character hasn't come to terms with his/her own sense of self, much less be able to relate to a spouse of any sex in a stable relationship. I think there is more at issue than same-sex marriage/divorce in this case. The person is confused about self and confusing to others.

Yes, that's ultimately confused, really extremely confused.

The couple can try to appeal the court ruling if they could afford and if AZ Supreme Court doesn't agree with them so they lose.

When their marriage is no longer recognized, so it is more like divorce by de facto and without court.

In extreme case, the couple have return to state that where they were married and try to divorce, so after divorce becomes finalized so they can return to Arizona.

IMO, if they get a marriage license in USA, then they can divorce anywhere in USA. What about foreigners who got married in their country and moved to America? Can they get divorced here?

It will be easier for opposite sex but more complicated for same sex.

I hope CPS will look into the case. This is a shame.

They can, IF the marriage is recognized in the jurisdiction they reside in.

That will not help at all. In fact, that will make things worse as far as the law goes by creating even more questions.

How??

What more questions can pop up?

Dissolve the marriage or not. Simple as that. doesn't matter the gender.

Ditto....He (or is it a she)...IMO...is a total freak....And those poor kids "he or she" had...just wait until they grow up.....shyt's gonna hit the fan!....And I do believe it was all for a publicity stunt.

Actually...I've no problem with transgenders...but this "man or woman" took it to the extreme!...He needs to get some therapy...real fast!....So what's next for "him or she"?...Having a baby monkey?

Iam curious..why did you say that?

There are just as many fucked up straight people and nobody has ever questioned if the straight couple would have a baby monkey.

What's up with that comment?
