1st Burnout at Dragster:

1/8 Mile Run:

A van with jet engine towing a F-250 with trailer:

Amazing and a lot of money invested... :eek:

Soccer mom's gonna love it, but no room for the kids lol cuz of the jet motor taking up the whole back space.

Guy could have converted the Caravan to RWD and stuffed in a 6.1 SRT-8 HEMI motor in the van and he can let his wife beat out Camaros, Corvettes, Ferrari's and Lambo's and still HAUL the kids around lol.

But I have to say that's Georgia redneck ingenuity at work heh.

Wow! Yep it takes up too much space but it's powerful for sure. It probably produces over 1,000 to 1,500 hp or so.

1,500 hp with JET is not enough with me. Mostly cars can make more than 1,500 hp without JET.

18,000hp sound right to me.

yea, but 1500 HP piston engine won't last long at all.
NHRA top fuel get rebuilt each pass..

that's 1500 SHP (shaft Horse power) is a lot of thrust!

Power = Thrust * Velocity.

When velocity = 0, power is zero by definition.

Now, if you want to calculate power using units of horsepower, then you need the proper conversion factors.

Power (in hp) = Thrust (in lbs) * Velocity (in knots) * 6076/(3600*550)

So, the CRJ, at say 300 knots, developes

8700 * 300 * 6076/(3600 * 550) = 8009 HP.

that Van at 115 mph make maybe 3000 horsepower! (I'm too lazy to do that math!)
