Nah, I am at my mom's friend's place - where I am residing while I am in D.C so I'm all good.

To be honest, I was a little sad when I left Portland

But I have a reason to visit Washington D.C - but I find Portland/Vancouver. washington to be a nice awesome place, the friends I have there are fantastic people, yes few of them are ADers as well

I understand. I hope you will enjoy in DC. It's a small city but very very BUSY and too many people. :shock: Hope you will meet too many deafies around in DC.
